6.21.26: Fantastic Ferments

This exciting, hands-on workshop will celebrate the role of wild ferments in beverage-making. Together we’ll learn to cultivate the microbes that heal and protect our bodies. We’ll concoct delicious drinks from foraged botanicals and wild yeasts that deepen our spiritual and physical health.

Everything we make together will be potent and flavorful whether used in mocktails or cocktails. Guests will leave with sodas of their own and the basic knowledge for limitless creations at home.

Through this studio format we will:

  • Understand the basics and the magic of fermentation
  • Learn to start and maintain a ginger bug
  • Forage and learn about the impact of foraged ingredients
  • Playfully experiment with various flavors and combinations
  • Take home multiple creations and recipe ideas
  • Learn how to participate in “relocalizing” food
  • Learn about the probiotic benefits of naturally carbonated sodas

All materials, ingredients, fermentation vessels and cultures will be provided!
