This is exciting, hands-on workshop teaches the essentials of preservation and lacto-fermentation, celebrating the ancient and varied rituals surrounding lactobacillus.
Through this studio format we will:
- Understand the basics and the magic of Lacto-fermentation
- Learn to use and preserve farm fresh produce
- Forage and learn about the impact of foraged ingredients
- Playfully experiment with various spices, flavors and techniques
- Take home multiple fermented creations and cultures
- Learn how to participate in “relocalizing” food
- Build resilience for you and your community
All materials, ingredients, fermentation vessels and cultures will be provided!
