Background and About
All classes will be held on our tiny regenerative farm and led by myself, Pat Scott. I was an instructor at Sky Martial Arts, based in Los Angeles, from 2015-2017 where I developed curriculum and led classes of 5 to 30 students between the ages of 4 and 45 years old. I have a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and am proficient in Hap Ki Do which is a Korean form of basic grappling, excellent for disarming or disengaging from attackers.
I am a student of mindfulness, and have participated in varying forms of meditation since 2008. I have been a practicing member of the Buddhist organization ‘Soka Gakkai’ since 2014.
I have a certificate in Permaculture from the Oregon State University and operated Opulent Earth, a turn-key sustainable Landscape Design company, in Los Angeles. We moved to Florida, NY in 2022 to launch Farm on the Fen with the intention of feeding and strengthening our community while doing right by the Earth.
