The Farm Stand is the beating heart of this place. Aside from housing our farm products, it’s where we will gather for our weekly activities (details below) and special events.
Starting May 22nd our standard hours are below:
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays: 9am-4pm
Sundays: 9am-1pm
Half price veggies on Sundays!
*No pets please: we have working dogs on site who are trained to protect our livestock*

Our freshly renovated farm stand overlooks a newly planted native meadow and will, in the coming years, be surrounded by a thriving garden and pollinator habitat. With a fabulous historic barn, vintage tractors and some very friendly chickens we hope your visit is worth the trip even before you get to the produce table.
Seating and shade available for any who would like to relax and enjoy the space.

The Farm Stand
The following will be available during our standard farm-stand hours, starting May 22nd:
- Fresh Farm Produce and Eggs
- Single Origin Coffee and Foraged Tea (Donation based)
- Baked goods
- Other farm and craft goods (medicinal tinctures, birdhouses, terrariums and more)
- CSA Pick up (Thursdays)
We will soon begin serving single-origin, fair trade coffees, teas and other inventive creations at the farm stand as donation-only refreshments. In the hope that our farm stand becomes a community gathering point (and a little more well-known) we hope to lure a few more friendly faces onto the farm with some high-end, ethically sourced caffeine.
Fresh, home-baked goods will be sold as well, all with farm-grown ingredients wherever possible. Come on in, bring a book and enjoy the wildflowers and a fantastic cup of coffee.
We believe that a farm disconnected from community can never truly be successful.
We’re here to nourish hearts as well as bellies.

“Reading is an act of radical empathy: turning the page instead of turning away.” – Damien Barr
Meditation
On Saturday mornings at 8am we open the farm stand as an intimate meditation space.
Meditation and mantra-based practices are vehicles to physical and mental well-being, and can be essential to healing past traumas and ongoing conflicts. Pat has a long relationship with western religions and has practiced Buddhism since 2014.
Anyone can join, all ages are welcome and no meditation experience is necessary but do we ask that guests show respect and kindness to the space, the farm and all the people they encounter. Which, really, you probably should be doing anyway.
Book Club
On Friday evenings at 5 we host a book club in our tiny farm stand. Silent Reading hours begin at 4pm with discussions at 5.
Use the form below to learn more, join the club, and get a reading list.
Our Food and Ecology Book Club begins in May 2025 and focuses on stories and literature that enrich our understanding of the natural world especially as it relates to agriculture. The vision we are building here at Farm on the Fen is informed by incredible farmers, philosophers, botanists, educators, researchers, spiritual leaders and scientists around the world.
Creating a safe space for individuals of all backgrounds and ages to sit quietly and read, or engage in sincere dialogue is one way that we hope to bring a more just, gentle and beautiful society into being.
