Golden Purslane

Purslane is a wonderful plant in the succulent family. Edible raw, excellent in salads or cooked in stir fries. The leaves and stems are tender, crispy and hydrating, even used in skincare similarly to ale vera. The flavor is refreshing, with a hint of citrus at the finish. It is a pleasure to grow, drought tolerant, readily self-seeding and we even use it as a living mulch around our Okra.
